It's an unlikely duet, Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan, but it's safe to say the shock of such a pairing is starting to wear off; we know it works.
A Hank Williams cover may not be the first thing you'd be expecting, but regardless, it's utterly compelling, filled with blues riffs and vocal juxtapositions which seem almost magical. Completely different to anything either artist has done before, it could well be their best work to date.
Two heads really are better than one.
