Latitude Festival Preview!
More on: Patrick Wolf

This weekend Clickmusic is departing to Southwold for Latitude, and we are excited. You'll see why as we run through the bands to watch at Henham Park over the weekend of 13th-15th July.

Friday

The Uncut Arena sees some summery Liverpool pop in the forms of The Sonic Hearts and Candie Payne in the afternoon. The laidback festival vibe will continue if we stay put for Fields, but eventually a decision will have to be made for the evening's entertainment.

If you don't want laidback, then it may be best to give the Obelisk Arena a miss on the Friday night, and get the party started with Bonde Do Role and New Young Pony Club over at the Sunrise Arena. Both hugely exciting electro-disco bands, it'll be a fun-filled Friday night. However, be careful not to miss Patrick Wolf headlining the Uncut Arena, who should follow. If you neither want to get your dance on, or be covered in glitter, then you can always check out the BAFTA Q&A with comedy legend Richard Curtis, followed by the electro-indie duo I Was A Cub Scout.

Saturday

The Uncut Arena is looking good on the Saturday, where it will be worth checking out quirky singer/songwriters Elvis Perkins, Loney, Dear and Joan As Policewoman. Then we'd suggest shooting over to the Obelisk Arena to catch Clap Your Hands Say Yeah to see what the hype is about. Clickmusic will be staying put at this arena for the guaranteed fun of CSS, followed by headliners The Good, The Bad and The Queen. We think Damon Albarn's project will be the perfect end to the day.

If that doesn't take your fancy though, you could check out Rodrigo Y Gabriela headlining the Uncut Arena, I'm From Barcelona over at Sunrise, and Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip at The Lake Stage.

Sunday

The Lake Stage would be a good place to start on the final day - catch the witty indie-pop of Scouting For Girls, followed by the soothing sounds of Eugene McGuinness. An equally good option is to see New York's Ra Ra Riot and current radio favorite Cherry Ghost at the Uncut Arena.

Clickmusic is hoping to be able to catch Charlotte Hatherley and Angus and Julia Stone on this stage, but if it comes down to it, we are going to get lost in the dance frenzy of The Rapture, who will be bringing their disgustingly cool New York funk to the Suffolk coast. When we've recovered, we will be taking in the inimitable Jarvis Cocker, who will dispense his words of wisdom on the Obelisk Arena.

You could end your weekend with Gotan Project, Howling Bells or Blood Red Shoes, but it's all about Arcade Fire if we're honest. No better band will be able to sign off what looks to be the classiest festival of the summer.
